The Wild head into the long weekend with a convincing win over the hapless Bull Dogs from Halton Hills. The Wild lead from start to finish in this one and controlled the flow the entire game.
The first period was a tight one as the Wild got up by a pair early on only to see the Bull Dogs tie it up on the PP to make it 2-2 into the final minutes. The Wild added a marker prior to the end of the frame and the teams went to the locker rooms with the visitors up 3-2. First period goal scorers were Tyler Nagy, Luke Finoro and Kent Radbourne.
The second period was all Wild as they started to pull away from the Dogs starting with 5 unanswered tallies and then 2 more after the Dogs got one back. The Wild outscored the Halton squad 7-1 in the second frame to lead 10-3 after 40 minutes. Second period markers by Radbourne, Sam Dramnitzke, Nagy, Finoro, Dylan Kuntz, Hayden Berger and Tyler Verutis.
The third period was a closer period as the home team stayed even with the first place Wild in the goal column as both teams notched 4 goals to make your final 14-7 for the Wild. Third period goals by Finoro, Radbourne (2) and Nagy.
The Wild have a long R&R ahead of them as they rest up for the next 11 days prior to hosting the Caledon Bandits on May 27th.
