In a barn buner of a game and a well played match the Wild fall to the Warriors and drop to 3-1 on the season. With a great crowd on hand and lot's of locals in attendance, the Wild simply couldn't pull it out in the end and suffer their first defeat of the season.
The Warriors struck first on the scoreboard but the Wild quickly answered with 2 paowerplay markers to take a 2-1 lead. The Wild would get another to go up 3-1 before the Warriors would respond before the end of the period to make the score after 20 minutes 3-2 for the good guys. First period goals scored by Luke Finoro (2) and Kent Radbourne.
The second period saw Six Nations take control out of the gate and score two quick ones to take a 4-3 lead before the Wild would respond with 3 of their own to take the lead back at 6-4. The Warriors would not lay down and tallied 3 of their own to make the score after 40 minutes 7-6 for the Warriors. Second period goals by Radbourne, Hayden Berger and Randy Borghese.
The third was shaping up to be a dandy as these two teams were playing a hard clean lacrosse game that was back and forth all night. The WIld struck first in the third to even things at 7-7 before the Warriors rang off 3 straight markers to take a 10-7 lead. With time ticking down the Wild started to pick away at the lead but were only able to come within 1 goal before the final buzzer went making the final 10-9 for the Six Nation squad. Third period goals by Tyler Verutis, Tyler Nagy and Berger.
